WEBINAR ON-DEMAND

ABSTRACT

Join the webinar to learn how you can realise your objectives of printing conductive features with high-performance and superior resolution with highly-concentrated silver inks and pastes (up to 85 wt.%) from XTPL. Our nanoinks enable you to obtain conductive micron-sized structures on a variety of substrates with diverse printing methods such as inkjet, LIFT, aerosol jet, and more.

  • XTPL Nanoinks and Nanomaterials Laboratory R&D activities and future perspectives

  • Tailoring physico-chemical properties of XTPL inks for various printing technologies, eg. aerosol jet, inkjet, LIFT, microdispensing

  • Enhancing inkjet printing performances and lifetime through non-clogging properties

  • High precision microdispensing through ultra-narrow nozzles

  • The overview of applications and use cases of XTPL inks

Complex topography covered with XTPL Ag Nanopaste CL85 (glass substrate)

High definition structures inkjet printed with XTPL Ag Nanoink IJ36 on PET substrate (using 1 pL cartridge available for Dimatix DMP-2850 Printer)

PRESENTER

Dr. Ludovic Schneider

R&D Manager

Responsible for R&D associated to nanoparticle synthesis and formulation of conductive and non-conductive products at XTPL. Obtained his Engineering Diploma with additional Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Organic Chemistry from the National College of Chemical Engineering of Mulhouse and PhD degree from Aix-Marseille University, France. Later worked on the development and improvement of photosensitive and sol-gel systems for the synthesis of nanoparticles and fabrication of hybrid materials for printed electronics and coating applications. Supervised R&D projects for the application of cutting-edge technologies (aerosol, atmospheric plasma, laser, supercritical fluids) in the field of production, printed electronics and sensors, with strong relationship to the textile industry.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

XTPL operates in the nanotechnology market segment. The company is developing and commercializing its globally innovative platform technology of ultra-precise printing of nanomaterials, protected by international patent applications.

The XTPL method is a breakthrough. This is because of a unique combination of several features: it is an additive method, which ensures significant time and material savings and allows the advantages of print – such as scalability, cost effectiveness, simplicity and speed – to be used in the production of advanced devices thanks to unprecedented precision (structures width from 1 µm) and without a need to use electric field. Due to its platform character, this solution will find application in the broadly understood printed electronics industry.
