XTPL is developing its business acumen at the MIT in Boston

The MIT Enterprise Forum Bootcamp in Boston is now in full swing. Filip Granek from XTPL is taking part as the representative of one of five start-ups that won the competition for the best young technological companies in Poland.

The bootcamp in Boston takes place in the best technical facility and the most famous university in the world – Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It is the final stage of the MIT Enterprise Forum Poland and MIT Enterprise Forum Greece acceleration programme which provides expert support to innovative technological enterprises in their initial period of operation. In total, representatives of 15 start-ups from Poland and Greece participate in the event.

During the final week they will have many opportunities for networking, meetings with academic researchers in local laboratories, visiting offices of start-ups as well as pitching to global investors. The finalists will also take part in business skill workshops and visit the campuses of MIT and Harvard.

The trip to Boston is for me the capstone of several months of hard work. Participation in the MIT Enterprise Forum Poland programme has been a great experience bringing us a lot of benefits. I am extremely grateful to the mentors for the knowledge they have shared and the support they have shown. I think that everyone is a winner at this stage and we will return to Poland and Greece with new knowledge and experience that we would not be able to gain anywhere else, says Filip Granek, co-founder of XTPL.

The MIT Enterprise Forum Poland acceleration programme, for which 26 young Polish companies were selected, started this year in February. Start-up representatives took part in workshops and lectures related to business development and negotiations with potential investors. Top five start-ups entered the second and final round of the programme in Boston. Their projects and innovations will be described in the MIT Technology Review.
